RESEARCH - DIETRICH VON HILDEBRAND ARCHIV

"Without this great philosopher, who was also an outstanding person, ... there would not be an International Academy of Philosophy".

Dietrich von Hildebrand is one of the most significant thinkers within the Realist Phenomenological movement and an intellectual father of the IAP. His teacher Edmund Husserl, describes his achievement in the following way: "His work manifests a rare talent for drawing out deep phenomenological intuitions and for analyzing penetratingly what is seen and fixing it with the strictest of methods".

The International Academy of Philosophy is in possession of a copy of Hildebrandīs Nachlass (literary estate).
